On the 2nd day of Christmas my baby gave to me the keys to a CLK Mercedes

It is like what? Day five of being stuck in the house because of snow? It's been so long I can't even remember. Seriously. So I give you, Urban Outfitters. I have a gift card (thanks Michelle!) and I thought I would peruse their website.

This is what I can only describe as a Harry Potter scarf. Specifically, Gryffindor. I am getting into scarves lately, and I have a couple of cute ones... I especially like the ones from Forever 21 (they are only $4.50 and come in many colors!). But this one? Not so much. $9.99

Now this necklace, I totally love. It is called the Jewel Box Necklace, and I can see why. I would wear it with this new cardigan I got from Target that is embellished with crystals. I like how it's delicate and also the double strand aspect. $12.99

Because sometimes, we can all be a little silly. And after all, it is the Christmas season! And who couldn't do with a Nativity Set? =) $19.99

So I think there is a reason that Blackberries are called Crackberries, because I am permanently attached to mine. If I'm not texting, I'm writing something in my to-do list or emailing my dad some pestering question at work or going on wikipedia to see how many times whichever celebrity has been married how many times or I'm on facebook checking everyone's status or writing down funny things people say. I think you get the picture, it rarely leaves my hand, or my jacket pocket. And then at night it charges on my desk right in arm's length in case I need to check it (but then again it also doubles as my alarm so it needs to be close) and at home it charges and rests on my bed. Like it might be a tad serious here. So I think that a book full of texting games might be a good idea for someone like me, who gets easily bored. Yeah? $5.99

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

If Christmas for you means that there is snow that turns roads into ice rinks and you slide going anywhere so you're stuck in the house reading entire books at a time but before the ice and snow hit you manage to make it to the mall and spend so much money you consider selling your eggs or getting a job even if you'd have to quit in six months to intern over the summer (I'm only half serious about the selling my eggs part, and you can now all see why my biggest problems in English essays are run on sentences).

In the last week, I've been to Nordstrom twice, and once to Nordstrom rack. I am addicted to them and their practical but overpriced long sleeved shirts that come in every color color you can imagine (that's where Nordstrom Rack comes in, 9 dollars instead of 32. No joke, 32 dollars for a long sleeved shirt that probably cost a dime to make). Meanwhile, it has been so cold this week (highs in the 30's if we're lucky. Yes that's right, three zero!) that I had to dig out the three long sleeve shirts I own and actually wear them. I'm also drawn to their discounted Coach and Juicy Couture products. Juicy Couture is my new fave, I think I need to seek some therapy for it. Above, Juicy Couture Pavé Bow Ring which was $78, now $57.90.

I'm not actually sure if they sell this at Nordstrom, actually they probably sell it at Macy's since Jessica Simpson has a deal with them and is in all their commercials. But it's a rather lovely jacket, especially since I would get it in red and not this dowdy grey color. Was $219, now $159.99

Last night I took a walk in the snow, Couples holding hands places to go*

OK, so a couple of things. First of all, yes I know, it has been awhile. Thank you Internet, but I have to say that college comes first, thankyouverymuch. Even though, truth be told, I would drop out of school right now if I knew I could make millions just blogging. But since we all know that'll never happen, it's neither here nor there.
Second, I like the idea of titling blogs with song lyrics. But so I do not get in trouble for copying or plagiarism, I will tell you that the last title was "A Place in This World" by Taylor Swift.
Can I just say though? I LOVEEEEEE the Christmas season! I love that we get out of school for the occasion (hate the finals. But this blog entry is only a momentary study break, I promise. 'Kay mom and dad?=). I love that we get to decorate a bunch and that we get a piece of chocolate each day from the advent calendar. (Please tell me you all have advent calendars? My dear roommate Lyndsie's mom bought me one, and it's a tradition for me to have one every year. Please do yourself a favor if you don't have one and go buy one, they are only $0.99 at Trader Joe's!). I love giving and receiving presents (and this year's gifts will have an extra special touch because I have a feeling many will be homemade, a silver lining thanks to this economy I guess depending on how you look at it). And I love baby Jesus of course! =)
And in keeping with our holiday theme, Christmas (Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice, Festivus, etc.) gifts! From the MOMA (MOdern Museum of Art) store!

This, my friends, is a clock. A clock based on the rotation of the earth. Each dash between the numbers represents 15 minutes. How clever! $25

An eraser! I love office supplies. And I love that the sole reason behind this funky shaped eraser is that with 24 sharp corners/points, you will always have a precise corner to erase a persnickety line or smudge or small area. And it lets me use the word persnickety. $3

I've featured this ring before, from a different website, but with a tinge of disappointment because it only came in one size, 7. Now I can rejoice because on this website it comes in sixes 6-8! $65

But most of all, I love this ring. I love that it looks like a wedding ring, but it's acrylic so it makes it casual. I love that it's clear so it resembles bling more. I apparently love a lot of things today. $12
*Your song entitle is brought to you by the one and only Britney Spears, from her song entitled "My Only Wish this Year", one of the best and under appreciated Christmas songs. Thought bubble! What if all my titles for the Christmas season were Christmas songs?! Oh glee. And as a side note, how much better is Britney getting? I watched her video "Lucky" from decades past (not really, maybe like one decade ago, from her first CD) and that was definitely a different and better time, dark chola lip liner nonwithstanding. But considering Britney made a solid attempt but ultimately hit and missed with her last CD Blackout, I think Circus is a good comeback. I particularly love the songs "Circus", "Womanizer", "If U Seek Amy", "Kill the Lights", and "Leather and Lace". I generally like the CD as a whole, and recommend it. I can even burn it for ya if you want =)
Love to you all! I hope to write more in the upcoming weeks since I'll be on break.
JUST ONE MORE THING! If any of you are stumped for gifts to give this holiday season, Never Too Much of a Good Thing is still on sale at blurb.com!
